Project 1: Bathroom Renovation

The Challenge:

• To renovate an extremely outdated and worn bathroom, while ensuring ample storage and a brighter overall feel which would be appropriate for children and guests to use.

Before: 

Key Design Features:

• Subway style and mixed-glass mosaic tiles
• New modern fixtures
• Custom vanity with quartz counter top
• Pocket entry door
• Cool spa colour scheme

The Solution:

• Tear out all existing fixtures, flooring and walls to begin a completely fresh start
• Develop a new space saving configuration (as space from this original bathroom as borrowed to enlarge an adjacent master ensuite bath)
• Replace and update all plumbing and electrical runs to accommodate the new fixtures
• Replace in-swing door with pocket door
• Use a combination of lighting and bright-white finishes to keep the space bright
